Arrived in the US in 2001 from Lamu, an Island off the coast of Kenya, Abudu brings flavors of his hometown to the people of Salt Lake.
Originating in Jamaica, Chef Donovan has been working in the kitchen since he was 16. For the past 20 years, he has called Salt Lake City home.
“Our love of food and family is our motivation for what we do. I love being able to share Puerto Rican flavors with people. I love bringing people joy through flavors that many have not tried before. It’s a blessing!”
Chef Jean Roody was born and raised in Haiti. He developed a love of cooking and food at a young age. He moved to the US as a young man with a dream.
Chef Marc uses only quality, fresh local ingredients in his artisan sandwiches. And his promise to you? This will be the best sandwich you have all day!

These Senegalese chefs dreamed of opening their own restaurant together. With Chef Pape’s culinary talent, Ibu’s business acumen and the fire they felt when they were working together, they knew it was something that had to happen.
